OUR APPROACH

This approach to design means we take projects from initial concept through to final completion. This service includes all aspects of the design, but also includes our services to implement the design, including management of renovation work, procurement of goods, on-site installation, and final styling of the spaces. This approach allows you to sit back and relax while we take care of all the details for you, and allows us to deliver our best final results.

The first step with any project is the questionnaire and the initial design consultation which is a 2 hour power session, where we'll learn about you and your specific project, so that we can prepare a detailed proposal outlining our services and fees as they pertain to your project. With your approval of that proposal, we get to work using our creativity, expertise, and professionalism, to create beautiful well-designed spaces that fit you and your lifestyle!

OUR DESIGN PROCESS

HOW IT WORKS.

DISCOVER

To start, we sit down with you for a 2 hour power session jam packed with design ideas, inspiration, and tactical resources, in order to determine the specific project requirements and design goals. Then, we survey the project by taking measurements and photographs to utilise as we proceed forward. We'll discuss aesthetics, function, and even that dreaded B word, Budget. It's time to get real so we can design a plan best for you in preparation for the Create Phase.

CREATE

Next, we delve into the fun part - the design! We create space plans, moodboards, design and colour concepts, furniture and finish selections, and, of course, schedule design meetings with you to present our ideas using design tools (i.e. floor plans, images, concept boards, sketches, swatches, etc.) to develop a comprehensive design plan for your feedback and approval to proceed to the Implement Phase.

IMPLEMENT

Then, we begin implementing the design - taking care of all the details for you! We manage any trade work for the project, procurement, schedule deliveries, and tackle any unforeseen issues.. just to name a few. Lastly, we provide on-site installation and final styling of the space to bring the project to its beautiful completion!
